Richard Pryor's widow calls Bill Cosby a 'piece of s**t'

Jennifer Lee Pryor, the widow of the great comedian Richard Pryor, discussed his relationship with Bill Cosby, who she called a “piece of s**t” in podcast interview.

Pryor spoke with Alison Rosen is Your New Best Friend recently and called Cosby a “f**king hypocrite.” She said that Cosby hated Richard Pryor’s work because he “worked dirty.”

“Richard was dirty on the outside, but he was a good person on the inside,” Pryor said, notes Jezebel. “Bill, f**k. Clean. Oh, clean. He hated Richard because he 'worked dirty.' Bill worked clean, so therefore, you know—Bill's just a f**king hypocrite, and dirty on the inside.”

Cosby was well-known for criticizing comedians who cursed during their sets. Eddie Murphy even joked about a phone call he received from Cosby, who called him up out of the blue to complain to him.

Pryor also said that it was well-known that Cosby was a womanizer, but said that the recent allegations of rape are still surprising to her.

“I wasn't aware of this kind of business,” she said. “There are people in the business who were aware of it and they're coming out now.”

Pryor told Rosen that she thinks Cosby’s legacy is tarnished. “He’s done... He’s a piece of s**t,” she said.

Cosby has been accused of rape by over 20 women, who claim that the Cosby Show star sexually assaulted and drugged them. Among the most recent accusers is Cindra Ladd, the wife of Oscar winning producer Alan Ladd Jr.
