The music had hit her in the head - literally!
Adam Levine left one fan from a Toronto Maroon 5 concert with a unique memory - getting hit in the head with his microphone during the March 16 Toronto leg of the the band's world tour.
According to Toronto City News, Levine's microphone had stopped working mid-concert and the P.A. system had failed. The 36-year-old band's frontman tapped on the mic repeatedly, then proceeded to toss it aside.
When tossed, the microphone hit the stage, bounced, and hit Stephanie Green right on the head.
In what some may have called a horrible accident, Green told City News it was "the best day of her life" because of what happened after the mic hit her.
Once hit, the Grammy awarding singer rushed off the stage to comfort the fan. Levine then brought her up on stage, held her hand, and put his arm around.
Levine then announced to the crowd what had happened. He said, "Not one time in the history of our band's career — which I can barely even believe exists — not one time has the P.A. failed. Not one time, until tonight." He continued by saying he did so because he was "flustered" and feels "utterly terribly" for what had happened to Green.
The fan then got to watch her favorite band perform from the side of the stage.
Despite the incident, the band is continuing with the world tour. No statement has been made regarding P.A. equipment for future concerts.
