Rapper Big Sean and singer Katherine McPhee are celebrating their birthdays today, March 25th.

Big Sean, 27

Rapper Big Sean turns 27 today. Born, Sean Anderson, he was signed to GOOD Music after performing a Freestyle for Kanye West and giving him his demo tape. He released his first mixtape, Finally Famous: The Mixtape, in 2007. His third mixtape, Finally Famous Vol. 3: BIG, was released in 2010 and featured numerous artists including Bun B, Curren$y, Tyga, Drake, Mike Posner, Asher Roth and Chiddy Bang to name a few.

Big Sean released his debut studio album, Finally Famous, in 2011. Sean recorded tracks with Lupe Fiasco, John Legend, Pharrell, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Chiddy Bang, Rick Ross, Pusha T and more. He later took part in the GOOD Music compilation album, Cruel SummerHall of Fame. The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured the hits "Beware" featuring Jhene Aiko and "Switch Up" featuring Common.

In 2014, Big Sean signed with Roc Nation. His third studio album, Dark Sky Paradise, was released in February 2015 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's lead single, "I Don't F**k with You" featuring E-40, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Big Sean earned Best New Artist at the 2012 BET Awards. He is currently in a relationship with singer Ariana Grande.

Katharine McPhee, 31

Singer, songwriter and actress Katharine McPhee turns 31 today. McPhee started her career on Season 5 of American Idol, coming in second place behind Taylor Hicks. After the competition, She signed to 19 Recordings Limited and Sony BMG's RCA Records. She later released her self titled debut album in 2007, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

McPhee made her acting debut in the comedy The House Bunny alongside Anna Faris. She later guest starred on the CBS show CSI: NY and the NBC reality show The Biggest Loser. She released her second album, Unbroken in 2010. The album was less successful than her debut, peaking at No. 27 on the Billboard 200 chart. That same year, she released her first Christmas album, Christmas Is the Time to Say I Love You.

McPhee landed the starring role in the NBC musical series Smash alongside Debra Messing, Megan Hilty, Jack Davenport, Anjelica Huston, Christian Borle, and Brian d'Arcy James. In 2009, she starred in the independent romantic comedy You May Not Kiss the Bride.

McPhee currently stars as Paige Dineen in the CBS drama Scorpion. She is currently dating her Scorpion co-star, Elyes Gabel, after her divorce from Nick Cokas.
