Jessie J, 27
Singer and songwriter Jessie J turns 27 today. Born Jessica Cornish, Jessie J started her career as a songwriter, writing for numerous artists including Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus. She later transitioned into singing, releasing her debut album, Who You Are in 2011. The album contained the hits "Do It Like a Dude," "Price Tag" and "Domino." She later earned the position of house artist at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
Jessie J performed at the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic alongside artists Tinie Tempah, Taio Cruz and Queen.
Jessie J released her second studio album, Alive, in 2013 and it became a top five hit in the UK and Australia. In 2012 and 2013, she served as a judge on The Voice UK. Sweet Talker, Jessie J's third studio album, was released in 2014 and featured the top 10 hit "Bang Bang" featuring Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.
Jessie J recently moved from London to California. She is currently in a relationship with singer Luke James.

Fergie, 40
Singer, songwriter, fashion designer, television host and actress Fergie turns 40 today. Born Stacy Ferguson, Fergie started her career providing the voice for Sally in the Peanuts cartoons It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown, Snoopy's Getting Married, Charlie Brown and four episodes of The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show. From 1984 to 1989, she starred on the TV show Kids Incorporated.
Fergie was a member of the girl group Wild Orchid. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1998 and debutd at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. She later left the group and joined The Black Eyed Peas after recording six tracks on their third album, Elephunk. Their next album, Monkey Business, was released in 2005 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The first single, "Don't Phunk with My Heart," reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned them a Grammy award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
Fergie went on to release he debut solo album, The Dutchess in 2006. She earned a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her single "Big Girls Don't Cry." She later returned to acting, appearing in the Poseidon remake, Grindhouse and Nine. She released two more albums with The Black Eyed Peas, The E.N.D. (2009) and The Beginning (2010).
Fergie released the single "L.A. Love (La La)" for her upcoming second studio album. She is currently married to actor Josh Duhamel. They have one son, Axl Jack Duhamel.

Mariah Carey, 45
Singer, songwriter, record producer and actress Mariah Carey turns 45 today. Carey released her self-titled debut studio album in 1990 and had four consecutive No. 1's on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She continued her early musical success with the release of Emotions, Music Box and Merry Christmas.
Carey's 1995 album, Daydream, contained the single "One Sweet Day" featuring Boyz II Men which spent 16 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, holding the record for longest-running number-one song in U.S. chart history. Carey later signed a new record deal with Virgin Records America. She made her film debut in the critically panned film Glitter. She was later dropped from her record label and experienced a decline in her career.
Carey signed a deal with Island Records in 2002 and released The Emancipation of Mimi in 2005. The single, "We Belong Together," was later named "Song of the Decade" by Billboard. She later had a supporting role in the film Precious and received Black Reel and NAACP Image Award nominations. Throughout her career, she has won five Grammy Awards, 19 World Music Awards, 11 American Music Awards and 31 Billboard Music Awards.
Carey was married to record executive Tommy Mottola for five years before divorcing. She later married Rapper and actor Nick Cannon and had twins, Monroe and Moroccan. However, Carey and Cannon are currently divorcing.
