Spoiler alert for Dancing With The Stars if you have not seen the last episode. Charlotte McKinney spoke out after a judge’s comments on her performance on the latest episode of the hit dancing show.
USA Today reported that the model, who is known for her racy Carl’s Jr. ad, had just finished a performance with pro dancer Keo Motsepe when judge Bruno Tonioli took things too far in criticizing her performance.
He reportedly said, “You’re never going to win the Nobel prize for quantum physics, but you are easy on the eyes and you produce wonderful shapes.” This immediately earned a reaction from the audience and the other judges, with host Tom Bergeron firing back, “Neither are you.”
His comments immediately earned ire on Twitter, with one user tweeting, “#DWTS @BrunoTonioli you need to apologize to @Char_mck @keodancer. Women can be smart and beautiful. Shame on you!”
According to E! News, McKinney had been on the receiving end of bullying early on in the season and she commented on the judge’s statements following her elimination. “I just believe it was super uncalled for. Especially after last week with the bullying and talking about just being nice and I didn’t see where it came from.”
Despite the commentary, McKinney said her time on the show was “amazing.”
