Derek Zoolander and Hansel crash Paris Fashion Week

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson made history at this year’s Parish Fashion Week with their walk down the runway in honor of Zoolander 2 set to premiere Feb. 12, 2016.

Their male model characters, Derek and Hansel who became best friends/frenemies at the end of the first film continue to pursue their modeling careers, with Ben Stiller still using his notorious “Blue Steel” pose. The two run into trouble when a rival company has a hidden agenda in efforts to kick the two out of the business for good in the upcoming sequel.

Paramount Pictures tweeted an image of the two mid-catwalk down the Maison Valentino runway, while “Don’t You Want Me” by the Human League set the mood as it played in the background, The New York Times reports. The motion picture production company also retweeted a Vine uploaded by VVFriedman, capturing a segment of Ben Stiller’s European fashion debut. Of course Vogue had a hand in covering the event through social media, as well, addressing the two film stars as their male-model characters.

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Valentino himself collaborated with the ridiculously good-looking duo. Both middle-age men wore large overcoats draped over their unique designer outfits. Ending the show, Ben Stiller’s character, Derek, wore a custom suit with black patent shoes, and Hansel, Owen Wilson’s model persona, wore a silk pajama suit with blindingly white open sneakers thanks to the vision of Valentino, Business Insider reports.

The original film initially came out in 2001, yet 15 years later fans couldn’t be happier with the news of the long awaited follow-up.
