'Hot mugshot guy' will be taking over the modeling world, just as soon as he's out of jail

Remember that time some guy got arrested for gang related felony weapon charges and then his beautiful mugshot took over the internet?

Well, guess who's back?

Jeremy Meeks, 30, is now working with agent Jim Jordan of White Cross Management to capitalize on his internet notoriety, ABC News reports.

"The hot convict" went viral on social media after Stockton, California police posted his mugshot on Facebook last year, TheCelebrityCafe.com reported. Meeks was sentenced to 27 months in prison on Feb.5, but has plans to start his career as soon as he's out of the slammer.

His agent told ABC there's a "sea of opportunities waiting for him" once he's released from the Nevada prison where he currently resides. He's hoping for an early release in November, US Weekly reports.

Despite his inadvertent ascent to stardom, the more than 24,000 likes and 6,000 comments on his mugshot may be a testament to his future success. The convict says he has received thousands upon thousands of fan letters.

"I'm in a place where I will be able to provide for my family and really change my life," Meeks told ABC of his media popularity. "I never thought that everyone in the world would recognize me for my looks, so I feel extremely blessed and very thankful."

Meeks says that in the moments before and during his mugshot was taken, he was only thinking of his wife and son. Whatever he was thinking, his chiseled jaw and piercing blue eyes certainly threw women into a frenzy.

In the meantime, Meeks is staying on top of his fitness and eating. "I eat healthy.I do a lot of pushups, pull-ups, dips, burpees, and I stay very active," he explains. Well, Jeremy, women around the world are happy to hear this and eagerly awaiting your release.
