Josh Murray isn’t waiting around for any more roses.
Murray opened up to E! News at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday about life after his very public break-up with his former fiancé, Andi Dorfman. Murray and Dorfman got engaged after appearing on ABC’s reality television show The Bachelorette.
When asked if he missed his former lady, he responded with a “no” and added in, "We're friends and everything like that. But at the end of the day, when you're very different from somebody else it just doesn't work out."
The former couple called it quits in January, two days after they made an appearance together for the season premiere of The Bachelor. In their joint statement they explained that they both “are very sad that it has come to this point but this is what's best for both of us individually.”
Murray also opened up about whether or not he would participate in appearing on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette again. He admitted that if he was asked to be The Bachelor he would “think about it” but participating in The Bachelorette again wouldn’t happen. He described his time on the show as a “great experience” but plans to “move on from that specific part” of his life.
Even though the reality television star doesn’t miss his former fiancé, that doesn’t mean he’s ready for a new romance. He admitted that he is currently not dating anyone. “I do want to settle down and have kids, but the right woman has to come along," he said. He continued to explain that he hasn’t had his eyes open for a new lady.
