Robin Thicke and Paula Patton will be officially divorced on April 14. They were granted a divorce from a judge on Tuesday, March 17.
The couple, who were high school sweethearts, announced their separation in Feb. 2014. Patton filed divorce papers in October, People reports.
When they first split, the “Blurred Lines” singer was very vocal about wanting her back. He even dedicated an entire album, Paula, to her.
Ultimately, Patton didn’t want to be in the marriage anymore. She said on Good Morning America earlier this month the split has been “challenging,” but “it's been a year of growth, lots of healing, learning about all new things, but I've come out of it stronger."
The former couple shares a 4-year-old son Julian. They said in statement last year when confirming their separation, "We will always love each other and be best friends.”
