Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson rushed to hospital

Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson suffered injuries in a knife brawl with his brother Andrew Thomson.

On the morning of March 11, the Thomson brothers were quickly taken to a local hospital in Des Moines after being involved in a knife fight, Billboard confirmed.

It appears that they were in a knife fight with one another. TMZ reports that the brothers were at Mick Thomson’s residence in Clive, Iowa. Cops confirmed that they appeared to be inebriated. The brothers got into a feud that could have been heightened by intoxication.

Both brothers sustained multiple stab wounds. Mick suffered a gash to the back of his head during the knife fight. They were transported to the hospital in different ambulances.

Band mate Corey Taylor has tweeted an update on Mick:

Police are currently investigating and no charges have been filed.

Slipknot is currently on break after they had been on tour recently where during one of their shows they did a cover of “Sabotage” by Beastie Boys with Korn. They will be heading back on tour in April.
