Taylor Swift shows the love for her fans known as, “Swifties,” time and time again. Yet, her outlook on her own love life doesn’t reflect the same compassionate attitude.
In her recent interview with Telegraph, Swift was asked to imagine her life five years from now. “I’ll probably still be single, let’s be honest,” she said. “No one’s going to sign up for this and everything that goes with it. Like, ‘Hi, nice to meet you, want a date? Do you love camera flashes? I hope you do!’” Swift doesn’t know if a real, lasting relationship is possible with the fast-paced ever-changing life she lives.
She also confessed to Telegraph about her tendency to be a worrywart. Swift constantly worries about who the media will say she’s dating, or will criticize her intellectually, the list goes on and on. Around the same time frame, she made a tweet about Lady Gaga that said, “Is it just me or is Lady Gaga, like, fully LIVING right now?!? #goals.” Gaga, engaged one-month prior, replied with a tweet reading, “@taylorswift13 wow you’re a sweetheart! Life is friends, family, and love! We all see that in you, your prince will come!” Gaga also retweeted Swift’s original post to all her followers.
With an upcoming tour and a nominee for the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards for Best Female Artist, Song of the Year, Radio Disney’s Most Talked About Artist, and Best Song to Dance to, Swift has a lot of good and exciting things coming her way, Billboard confirms. Her 1989 tour announced to begin in May, gives this country-gone-pop star a lot of Swifties in her future to continue to spread love to, but hopefully she listens to Lady Gaga and doesn’t give up on another type of love, involving a prince charming.
