Say it ain't so Tim Tebow. Is one of the best collegiate football players of all-time, who has since been forced out of the NFL due to lack of skill at the quarterback position, gearing up for a possible comeback bid to the NFL?
Ben Volin of the Boston Globe has recently reported that Teblow is currently working with Tom Brady's quarterback coach, Tom House. The two-men have been working on Tebow's overall arm accuracy in Los Angeles, and according to House, Tebow has made significant improvements.
"He went from being a little inaccurate and didn't throw a whole lot of spirals, to throwing very accurate and real good at spinning the ball," House said.
What makes the news so important is the fact that the NFL veteran's combine is on March 22 of this year - a little under two-weeks away. It's been bandied about that Tebow would attend in effort to get his name back in the NFL mix.
The former Florida Gators quarterback is no 27-years old and currently works for ESPN as a college football analyst.
He hasn't been a starting quarterback in the league since 2011 when he helped lead the Denver Broncos to a shocking win over the Pittsburgh Steelers during Wild Card weekend in the playoffs.
Tebow finished 2011 with 1,729 passing yards and a touchdown/interception ratio of 12-6, notes Pro Football Reference.
