In the latest episode of NCIS: Los Angeles, the team investigates a bombing that kills three FBI agents after a sting operation. At first, it is believed that something went wrong with the C-4 explosives that were in the van being transported, but then evidence concludes this is not the case.
As the investigation continues, a suspect emerges from a man who is vengeful against the FBI for supposedly turning his nephew into a suicide bomber. When the suspect tells of another attack that is set to take place, it’s a race against time to prevent it from happening.
Meanwhile, a mysterious woman is following Kensi and Deeks and Hetty has them pair up with Sam and Callen respectively, much to both of their confusion. Eventually, we discover the woman is Detective Jacqueline Rivera with the LAPD Internal Affairs. They are apparently investigating Deeks for some unknown reason and while we don’t know if there is anything to be found about our loveable cop, there is a lot we may not know about him.
This episode raised questions about the lives of our team, as well as leading Kensi and Deeks to discover that their relationship isn’t as secret as they thought it was. With the tensions running high due to the case and the worry over someone watching them, this was a big episode for our team tonight. Here is some of the top ten moments from “Fighting Shadows.” What did you like best from this episode?

10. Mystery woman
While Kensi and Deeks are having a fun morning together, they notice a woman is taking photos of them. This is suspicious to the both of them and their day only gets stranger when they are paired up with different partners on a case.

9. Targets
After going to investigate the scene of the bombing, Kensi and Sam find out that the bomb in the van didn’t come from any of the explosives that were in the van and that it didn’t go off until only the FBI agents were near the van. They also find evidence that someone left behind a watch, most likely as a message. The scene below shows the sting operation before the bombing.

8. Deeks and Callen
When Deeks and Callen are paired up for the case, the two agents have an awkward conversation when Deeks asks how Callen’s girlfriend is. He finds out the whole team basically knows he is with Kensi and Deeks wonders if that is the reason Hetty put him with a different partner.
Love Callen's little giggle before he pops #Deeks' relationship bubble. #NCISLA

Sam and Kensi
Sam and Kensi talk about her relationship with Deeks and while he isn’t too thrilled about his co-workers dating, he wouldn’t want them taken off the team. He also tells her they have to be careful because he was surprised when his first child came. The conversation leaves Kensi feeling flustered.
Cats out of the bag! How long do you think the #NCISLA team has known about #DENSI's relationship status? @ericcolsen @DanielaRuah

6. Hetty and Deeks
Deeks goes to talk to Hetty and sees her in ops looking at a photo of the woman who had been watching him and Kensi. After Hetty assures him she is not a threat at the moment and that he needs to stay apart from Kensi for the case, he leaves before Nell asks Hetty if she made sure he saw the photo on purpose. She replies that she did so she could find out how much he knew. But about what?

Kensi sees the woman following her and stops her with her car, only to find out she is a woman named Jacqueline Rivera with the LAPD Internal Affairs. She tells Kensi they are investigating Deeks, but Kensi is sure they won’t find anything on him.
Such a great episode tonight! I almost can't handle the suspense of all the things happening at once! Mostly Deeks/Kensi #Densi #NCISLA

1. Protection
Hetty speaks to Kensi and Deeks and tells them that the LAPD is opening up an investigation into Deeks.
