Windell Middlebrooks, who died suddenly on Tuesday, is being remembered as a funny actor, who made an impression on everyone he worked with. Several stars took to Twitter overnight to pay tribute to the actor.
As previously reported, Middlebrooks was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious at his home. No cause of death has been reported. He was 36.
His manager, Steve Ivey, confirmed Middlebrooks’ death is a statement to the Associated Press. According to USA Today, his family said they were sad to announce “the passing of a young, black star,” adding, “It was Windell's biggest wish that his final scene not be lived on social media.”
Instead of speculation, Twitter was filled with messages from stars paying their respect. As MTV News points out, many of the young stars of Disney’s The Suite Life of Deck seires noted how much they miss him.

Matthew Gross, a producer on Body of Proof, told Deadline that Middlebrooks was an “inspirational humanitarian, a family man, artist, dancer, entertainer and one of the funniest people on this planet.”
In addition to his work on television shows, Middlebrooks was also known for the Miller High Life commercials.
