Several teens have been tweeted their terrifying #KylieJennerChallenge lip plumping results over the past few weeks. MTV series star, Jillian Rose Reed, took a different approach in achieving the envied look. Through her video found on Funny or Die, Reed shows viewers the “right” way to get the look.
As Jenna Hamilton’s best friend on Awkward, Jillian takes five intentionally awkward steps to ensure the Bratz Doll like lips. By using 10 different lipsticks, a safety pin, and a shot glass, she deems you’ll achieve the Jenner standard. Be warned, the video doesn’t end as well as you’d think. Shot glasses may not be the best way to go when trying to achieve your facial physique goals.
Reed’s Jason Mraz-inspired ink on her ribcage she got last December reads, “out of my hands,” MTV News confirms. In this case, it’s true. It’s out of the notably fast-paced talker’s hands and on her lips. By adding humor to the challenge, she’s showing how ridiculous the whole trend is and to what measures people are willing to take.
Jillian will return to Awkward when it premieres on August 31, hopefully with her natural, unharmed lips.
