Actors Jessica Lange and Shemar Moore are celebrating their birthdays today, April 20.
Jessica Lange, 66
Film, television and theater actress Jessica Lange turns 66 today. Lange made her career debut in the 1976 film King Kong. For her role, she won a Golden Globe for New Star of the Year. Lange was nominated for an Academy Award for her work in Frances and won the Academy Award for her role in Tootsie that same year.
Lange produced and starred in 1984's Country. She made her television debut as Maggie the Cat on CBS's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Lange has appeared in over 30 films, including Blue Sky, A Thousand Acres, Big Fish Bonneville and The Vow. She has also appeared in the television films O Pioneers!, Normal and Grey Gardens. Throughout her career, Lange has won two Academy Awards, two Emmys, five Golden Globes, a SAG awards and three Dorian Awards.
Lange appeared in all four seasons of FX's American Horror Story. She won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for Season 1, American Horror Story: Murder House and won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for American Horror Story: Coven. In 2015, Lange announced that she will not be returning to the series.
Lange will next star in Wild Oats alongside Shirley MacLaine and Demi Moore.

Shemar Moore, 45
Model, director and actor Shemar Moore turns 45 today. Moore attended Santa Clara University and modeled to pay his bills. He played Malcolm Winters on The Young and the Restless for eight years, leaving in September 2005. He hosted Soul Train from 2000 to 2003.
Moore played Terry White in the 2001 film, The Brothers, alongside Morris Chestnut, D.L. Hughley and Bill Bellamy. He played Detective Jesse Reese on the television series Birds of Prey in 2002.In 2004, he starred alongside Vivica Fox and Golden Brooks in the film Motives and had a supporting role in the Tyler Perry film Diary of a Mad Black Woman in 2005.
In 2014, Moore voiced Victor Stone/Cyborg in the animated direct-to-video film Justice League: War and reprised his role for the sequel, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis. He transitioned to directing for the film The Bounce Back, in which he also stars.
Moore currently plays Derek Morgan on the CBS crime series Criminal Minds. He is also still modeling, signed to DNA Model Management in New York City.
