Courteney Cox makes directorial debut with 'Just Before I Go'

Courteney Cox is making her directorial debut with Just Before I Go.

The "Friends" star has just wrapped up the final episode of TBS' "Cougartown," and is now using her time to direct the upcoming film.

The film, Just Before I Go, follows a depressed Ted Morgan (played by American Pie star Seann William Scott) as he returns to his hometown before committing suicide. Prior to ending his life, Morgan feels the need to settle a few scores, such as with his childhood bully.

The film combines both the serious topics of depression and suicide, with Cox's infamously known irreverent humor. Such as though home to confront his past, Ted Morgan gets hit on by his dad's new wife when she is sleep walking. She also spits in his coffee!

Rob Riggle, Olivia Thirbly, Kate Walsh, Elisha Cuthbert and Evan Ross also star.

Just Before I Go hits theaters on April 24.

Cox has not announced if she will be making a cameo in the film.
