Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin finalize divorce a year after 'conscious uncoupling'

Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin officially ended their 11-year marriage today, over a year after Paltrow’s famous “conscious uncoupling” announcement.

Sources told TMZ that the divorce papers have been signed and were filed Monday. Sources told the site that their business managers reached a deal involving property and custody of their two children.

Terms of the deal will be left confidential, but TMZ reports that they did ask for joint legal and physical custody of Apple, 10, and Moses, 8. They listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Paltrow, 42, and Martin, 38, famously called it quits in March 2014, when Paltrow announced their decision on her GOOP site. They remained close over the past year, even sparking brief rumors that they would be getting back together again. However, Martin was spotted with actress Jennifer Lawrence last summer and fall. They were seen together again in January.

Martin’s group Coldplay recently released the successful Ghost Stories. As for Paltrow, she was just seen in Mortdecai with Johnny Depp.
