Upon returning from vacation with his family, including estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin spent a romantic weekend with girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence in New York City.
On Saturday, they had lunch at Tavern on the Green then took a walk in Central Park. They then spent the night at the Carlyle Hotel.
“They were very nice to everyone," a fellow diner told People. The couple hasn’t been photographed together since January.
"Because their table was facing the courtyard and was against the glass wall, people pretended to be taking selfies so they could be seen in the background. It was very funny,” the source continued.
Page Six reports they also took a walk through the John Lennon memorial Strawberry Fields before retiring to their hotel holding hands.
Martin was just in Mexico with Paltrow and their kids, Apple and Moses, and their divorce is still on.
