'The Fault In Our Stars,' Shailene Woodley have big night at 2015 MTV Movie Awards

The 2015 MTV Movie Awards were on Sunday night, putting the final stamp on 2014’s film releases. Hosted by Amy Schumer, it turned out to be a huge night for The Fault In Our Stars and the hit teen romance’s star, Shailene Woodley.

Robert Downey Jr. also gave an emotional speech when he picked up his Generation Award, which was presented by his Avengers co-stars. The actors all took a knee, recognizing just how important Downey has been to the Marvel family.

“In the 34 years that have passed since the birth of MTV, I have grown up, I’ve struggled. I’ve failed. I’ve succeeded. I partied way too much. Therefore, I’ve squandered, resisted, surrendered, repented, labored, begged for second chances and literally clawed my way to the top,” Downey told the cheering audience. “I’ve tried to live honorably and never forget my love of the game, my friends. So if a man is judged by the company he keeps, then I must be doing something right because look who I’m rolling with!”

The Fault In Our Stars was one of the big winners, taking home the Movie of the Year award. Neighbors and The Maze Runner were also clear fan favorites, taking home multiple awards.
