A$AP Rocky explains Rita Ora diss in his song 'Better Things'

A$AP Rocky is setting the record straight about Rita Ora.

The 26-year-old rapper said some harsh words about the singer in his new single "Better Things."

He rapped, "I swear that bitch Rita Ora got a big mouth/Next time I see her might curse the bitch out/Kicked the bitch out once because she bitched out/Spit my kids out, j--zed up all in her mouth and made that bitch bounce," as noted by Us Weekly.

According to E Online, A$AP Rocky stopped by the radio show Sway in the Morning and talked with Sway Calloway about his controversial lyrics.

When asked why the rapper chose these lyrics, A$AP said, "First off, it's an old song. It's one of the older songs on the album," he explained. "But what I will say is I got into a lot of trouble over her at times when I didn't need to, because she caused a lot of grief. So at that time, for me, it was just like…you know. I said what I said."

The rapper also told Sway that he did not give Ora a heads up that she would be mentioned in the song and admitted that he probably should have muted her name in the song.

Though his lyrics make it seem like there is tension between him and Ora, A$AP Rocky said that he doesn't "have nothing against her."

He also addressed the line in the same song that mentions Katy Perry, explaining that it was not a diss towards the famous pop star, but a reference to her popular hit "I Kissed A Girl."
