Amy Adams and her longtime boyfriend, Darren Le Gallo, who have been engaged since 2008, finally found the time to tie the knot this weekend. The two got married in California on Saturday.
E! News first confirmed the happy news. According to People, it was a small ceremony and Adams wore a Marchesa gown.
Adams, 40, and Le Gallo, 40, have been together for 14 years and became engaged in 2008. However, they continued to delay the wedding because of Adams’ career. Since she’s between projects, the five-time Oscar nominee just found time for a wedding.
The two are parents to Aviana, who is about to turn five. After Aviana was born, Adams told InStyle in 2011 that she was “putting more pressure on myself,” adding “I’ll figure it out soon.” Well, they finally figured it out.
Adams just finished shooting Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will soon be making Denis Villeneuve's Story of Your Life. She just won her second consecutive Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy for Big Eyes. Last year, she won the same award for American Hustle.
She has Oscar nominations for Junebug, Doubt, The Fighter, The Master and American Hustle.
