Anheuser-Busch beer company has stopped producing beer on Wednesday to create cans of drinking water for the Texas and Oklahoma flood victims instead.
According to NBC News, Anheuser-Busch is one of the largest brewing companies in the world and are based in Cartersville, Georgia.
The company is planning on distributing 50,000 cans of water to the communities affected by the storm throughout the week.
“Right now our production line is running emergency drinking water instead of beer," Cartersville brewery manager Rob Haas said.
The company produces drinking water roughly three times a year to help people in need, WXIA reports.
Anheuser-Busch is partnering with the American Red Cross to allocate 2,000 cases of water devastated by the inclement weather.
"Oklahoma and Texas are in an unprecedented situation," Red Cross spokesman Jordan Scott told NBC News. "There are a lot of folks in need and everyone's coming forward to help out."
The flood as of Friday left at least 27 people with 13 still missing in Texas.
