Actor Breckin Meyer and singer Frenchie Davis are celebrating their birthdays today, May 7.
Breckin Meyer, 41
Actor, comedian, writer, producer and drummer Breckin Meyer turns 41 today. Meyer started his career by playing notable drug users in films including Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, Clueless, The Craft and Escape from L.A..
Meyer gained recognition for his role in the 2000 film Road Trip. He went on to star in the comedy Rat Race and had a supporting role in Kate & Leopold. In 2004, he played Jon on the live-action film adaptation of Garfield.
Meyer regularly does voice work and writing for Robot Chicken and was nominated for an Emmy for his writing on the Robot Chicken: Star Wars special. Meyer plays the drums for the bands The Street Walkin' Cheetahs and Tom Morello's The Nightwatchman.
From 2011 to 2014, Meyer played Jared Franklin on TNT's Franklin & Bash. He also created and wrote the TBS comedy Men at Work, which ran from 2012 to 2014.
Meyer has two children, Caitlin and Clover, from his previous marriage to screenwriter and film director Deborah Kaplan.

Frenchie Davis, 36
Broadway performer and singer Frenchie Davis turns 36 today. Davis auditioned for Season 2 of American Idol, however she was disqualified after topless photos of her came up on the internet. In 2003, David performed in the Broadway production of Rent.
Davis continued her theater acting, playing Effie in the 2004 production of Dreamgirls. She went on to appear in Mahalia: A Gospel Musical, Ain't Misbehavin', which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Musical Show Album and Cinderella.
In 2011, Davis auditioned for Season 1 of The Voice. She advanced through the competition on Team Christina Aguilera and was eliminated in the semi-finals, placing fifth. She toured alongside the Top 8 performers on the show.
In 2012, Daviis returned to theater, starring in God Doesn't Mean You Get To Live Forever and in 2014, she made her film debut in the comedy Dumbbells. In 2012, she released her debut solo single, "Love's Got A Hold On Me," which peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Dance chart.
