Cissy Houston is giving a saddening update on her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s progress while in a coma.
She performed at the McDonald's Gospelfest in New Jersey on Saturday night where she spoke with ET about Bobbi Kristina’s condition.
The only daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown has been in a medically-induced coma since she was found unresponsive in her home on Jan. 31.
“She's the same, she's not progressing at all. She's not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I'm ready for her,” Houston said. “I have nothing to do with that. That's His job. It's His territory, you know? And I understand it."
It seems the family is preparing for the worst, since Houston, her daughter-in-law Pat Houston and Bobby Brown have all been named conservators of Bobbi Kristina’s medical care. The two sides of the family have been “working harmoniously” despite reports of conflict.
“We go to the hospital every day and pray and, you know, I talk to [Bobbi Kristina] because she can still hear, and I rub her hand and whatnot,” Houston continued.
