Hearing in Suge Knight's case delayed over his refusal to leave cell

Suge Knight’s hearing has been delayed due to his refusal to leave his jail cell.

According to Fox News, Marion “Suge” Knight was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday for a hearing in his robbery case, but told deputies he was “too sick to leave his jail cell.”

The former rap music mogul and comedian Katt Williams are charged with stealing a celebrity photographer’s camera in September.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ronald Coen almost “forcibly” removed Knight from his cell to attend his hearing, but then decided to delay the proceedings to coincide Knight’s hearing for his murder case on Friday.

“No one refuses to come to my court,” Coen told a prosecutor and Williams’ attorney.

Knight’s court appearances have been smooth. He has been hospitalized three times since his arrest and fired his attorney, David Kenner.

The Death Row Records co-founder has been in jail on charges for murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run since January.

As we , Knight pleaded not guilty to the charges in February. Security footage shows Knight violently running over Terry Carter and Cle Sloan with his truck at a Compton burger joint, killing Carter and seriously injuring Sloan. Knight’s attorney said he was fleeing an ambush.

Knight has yet to hire a new attorney to represent him. Coen said he would appoint him a new attorney if he did not have one by his next hearing, as noted by .
