MTV documentary show host Nev Schulman is known for his heart, but he’s also known for that mass of chest hair that lies over top of it. Fans are getting the chance to fulfill their dream of having a part of Nev in their lives, through the charitable organization Leave Out Violence.
MTV’s Catfish and, more recently Truce, host Nev Schulman focuses his resources and efforts on television to help others come to terms with the truth. No matter the situation, Nev always seems to present himself as an open-minded, understanding person who’s willing to help others cope with whatever the problem in their lives.
In efforts to raise money to prevent, reduce, and respond to violence, Nev has revealed the top prize as a clipping of his actual chest hair that will be rewarded to the person who donates $20,000, according to Just Jared.
Leave Out Violence, LOVE, is an organization that provides youth with a set of skills that will ultimately help them create positive and peaceful reinforcements, such as conflict-resolution skills, creative self-expression, a positive self-image, etc. Nev and co-star Max Joseph generated the fundraiser on GoRaff with several prizes including autographed posters, a special message from both Nev and Max, a postcard from Nev, a Skype session with Nev, an auotographed copy of Nev’s book In Real Life, and more.
This isn’t Nev’s first round with LOVE, MTV reported. He partnered with them back in 2013, where contributors received free T-shirts, one of which was a “sweater vest” tee that depicted a realistic image of the MTV activist’s chest. Looks like he’s using what puberty blessed him with yet again in order to help promote a bigger cause.
This time around, the ultimate prize, other than the envied and rare patch of chest hair titled “Hairy Treasure Chest,” is a chance to meet Nev and Max on the set of Catfish. The contest will close on June 8.
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!? Win a trip to hang with me and Max Joseph and get some awesome prizes! www.goraff.com/Nev4LOVE
