A second trailer for Sony’s Pixels hit the on Tuesday, showing us just how dangerous real-life video game characters can be.
Directed by Chris Columbus, the film is about aliens sending back versions of beloved arcade game characters to Earth to destroy us. The government decides that the only way to solve the problem is by hiring video game champions - played by Josh Gad, Adam Sandler and Peter Dinklage - to help. Kevin James and Michelle Monaghan co-star.

Pixels hits theaters on July 24. It’s Columbus’ first movie since 2010’s Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Hopefully the CGI doesn’t look too bad when we see the full film.
