Taylor Swift concert saved three teenage girls' lives

Going to a Taylor Swift concert wasn’t just a fun time for three young women but also a life-saving one.

According to People, a young woman posted on the singer’s website this past Sunday a long post about how the LED bracelets from the show helped save three of her friends from a terrible car accident.

Avery Talbot posted the letter saying that when Swift’s 1989 tour stopped in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, her friends split up after the show and got into a potentially fatal car accident.

The three girls, Elizabeth and Caroline Dazzio and their friend drove home in the dark hours of the morning when Dazzio fell asleep at the wheel resulting in a crash.

"It was almost 1 a.m. and pitch black and the girls and totaled car could not be seen," Talbot wrote.

WBRZ reports that the accident occurred near the 1-110/Scenic Highway exit.

"You could smell the gas and smoke," Caroline said. "I was just thinking we need to get out of this car."
Two of the girls cell phones were dead and the third one was lost in the wrecked car.

However at the concert, light-up bracelets were given out to concertgoers to light up the stadium, which came in handy when the girls needed help.

Talbot's post continued: "When the two girls in the back (Emma & Caroline) realized they could not receive help, one of their bracelets flashed … They started tapping the bracelets to the windows & eventually a lady pulled aside to help and call 911."

WBRZ reports that the girls were saved from the wreck and are all in stable condition.

"She said without those bracelets they probably would have not been seen," Talbot wrote.

The story even got the attention of the singer, herself, when she tweeted the link and, “This is unreal. I’m so happy they’re okay.”
