The Duggar family is ready to talk about what happened

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are ready to talk to the public about their son molesting young girls when he was a teenager.

According to TMZ, the couple will sit down next week with Megyn Kelly on Fox News’ The Kelly File.

Michelle said that she and her husband want to, “share our hearts with you about the pain that we walked through as a family twelve years ago, the tears we all shed and the forgiveness that was given."

The family is ready to come forth after TLC decided to pull their hit reality show, 19 Kids and Counting after rumors began to swirl that the oldest son, Josh Duggar, molested several girls – including some of his own sisters – roughly 12 years ago.

When the allegations became public, TLC responded to viewer Twitter comments demanding the channel pull the show.

Since then, the family has made no formal statements and this will be the first one by the parents.

The interview is set to air on June 3.
