What happens when two famous couples come together for tea?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met with Prince William and Kate Middleton at Kensington Palace to enjoy a cup of tea and discuss their humanitarian efforts on Friday.
This was the first time the power couples have met and used their time together to discuss “their shared interest in combating the illegal wildlife trade,” notes E! News.
A source told Us Weekly that the Royals were “really excited” for their afternoon tea and that Brangelina was greeted by Prince George outside of their apartment 1A home. Brad and Angelina even brought the Duke and Duchess a special gift for Princess Charlotte, who was born on May 2.
In fact, their meeting went so well that the Jolie-Pitts “ended up staying for almost a few hours.”
“Everyone got on splendidly. Brad and Angelina spent much longer with the Duke and Duchess than planned,” an insider revealed.
Afternoon tea with the Royals is not the only important meal Brad and Angelina will eat while they’re in London. The couple is set to attend a lunch at the Foreign & Commonwealth on Monday as part of Angelina’s campaign to put an end to war zone sexual violence.
