The plan calls for tighter restrictions on who can buy a gun. They want to close any loopholes that could allow someone to purchase a weapon without getting background check.
Next, every state needs to require background checks. They prevent guns from falling into the hands of a criminal.
The last two parts require that a ban should be put bringing assault rifles into the public and to increase the penalty for gun trafficking.
Everytown wants voters to make gun safety a priority in their state and demand a plan. They believe that if all of America supports the policy, then Congress will have to give in.
