It looks like the drama around Chris Brown and Karruche Tran’s relationship will never end.

The singer stopped by the radio show On Air With Ryan Secrest and got candid with Secrest about Karruche, as noted E! News, just days after the two had a big public fight at a nightclub.

"I'm not a hateful person," he explained. "Of course I still love her, but mentally right now, I think everything takes time. I just need to focus on being the best father I can be."

It was recently revealed that Brown is the father of 1-year-old Royalty. Her mother is Nia Guzman, a former model who used to be close friends with Brown.

Karruche broke up with Brown shortly after the news broke and she was blindsided, causing her to end their relationship.

"I'm going to be honest and be a man about it and just take it one day at a time," Brown admitted. "I can't promise anything and I can't jump over the moon, but it takes time for all wounds [to heal]. I take full responsibility for my actions and things that I've done in the past. I feel like it's just a time thing."

After talking about his former girlfriend, Brown dished to Seacrest about the new lady in his life, Royalty. He explained how being a father has changed him.

"There comes a time when people kind of have to grow up and become more of an adult and take on different responsibilities," he said. "I think this was just a blessing in disguise with my daughter because I get a chance to look at her and teach her the right path and also be a father in my daughter's life."

Brown is set to start touring this summer with his newly launched One Hell of a Nite Tour and he is excited to get back on the road and perform.

"I think it'll be good for just people to have fun and [I want to] put smiles on people's faces when I'm out onstage," he said.
