Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to defend herself after her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels' song "Love The Most" hit social media this week, which was entirely about her.
The song basically airs out all of their dirty laundry, with Samuels accusing her of cheating and popping prescription pills.
TMZ reports Minaj deleted some accusatory tweets, such as “Lesson: don't cheat on a loyal woman. God will punish u. When he does, tell people the truth. The truth may set u free. Love. Always,” but she did keep up a host of others, including confessing her love for her new boyfriend Meek Mill.
“God gave me a good heart. I always let ppl get over on me way too long,” she tweeted. “But that's why I'm blessed. I'll always b blessed. May God keep u.”
She added, “And just for the record, I'm in love with meek.”
However, Minaj went on to address her relationship with Samuels directly, too. “Making a 12 yr relationship work at such young ages? We're BOTH the real MVP. things got rocky at the end but we had a GREAT run. #B4Ujudge,” she wrote.
