Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello celebrated their first anniversary as a couple this past weekend and the Modern Family star posted a sweet message to her fiancé on social media.
Vergara posted a photo of herself kissing the former True Blood star on Sunday, wishing him a happy anniversary. “Happy 1st Anniversary love of my life!!! Never been so happy!! #lucky @joemanganiello,” she wrote.
Vergara ended her engagement to Nick Loeb in May 2014. He has since sued her for her refusal to use the frozen embryos they had saved before their split.
He has stated his belief that “life begins at fertilization” and keeping them frozen is “tantamount to killing them.”
Vergara and Manganiello had an engagement party last month and they already have a date set for their “large” wedding.
“I had to invite like all my family, and Joe has a lot of friends,” she has said. “So it became bigger and bigger and bigger."
