Following a series of unexpected delays, Tyga finally surprised fans with the release of his fourth studio album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. The album is available to stream exclusively on Spotify.
The Gold Album was executive produced by Kanye West and Mike Dean, according to Billboard. In addition to working as the executive producer, West and his creative team DONDA designed the album's artwork.
Tyga tweeted the link to the 12-track album Tuesday afternoon shortly before declaring it "the best work [he's] ever done."

Initially, the album was supposed to be released on November 18, 2014. After a dispute with his label, Young Money/Cash Money, Tyga decided to release The Gold Album independently.

Prior to working on this album, Tyga teamed up with Chris Brown for their collaborative album, Fan of a Fan: The Album, which sparked the hit single "Ayo."
