‘Law & Order’ director Jason Alexander arrested for child pornography charges

Jason “Jace” Alexander, who is best known for directing Law and Order, was charged on Wednesday with two felony counts for child pornography.

According to Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore, Alexander was charged for “possessing and file-sharing illegal and obscene performances of sexual conduct by children less than seventeen years of age.”

Entertainment Online reports that the Westchester County DA’s office caught Alexander after an investigator found that he downloaded child porn to his home computer.

With this evidence, the police were able to get a search warrant to go through his computer files.

“A forensic examination of computers and external hard drives removed from the location revealed digital files of children who are less than sixteen years of age engaged in child pornography,” announced the DA’s office.

According to E! Online, Alexander bail was set to $10,000 and his court date is November 19.

If he does get convicted, Alexander could find himself spending up to seven years in prison.

Alexander’s representative has made no comment about the arrest.
