Backstreet Boys join *NSYNC's Joey Fatone in B-movie Western

Attention 90’s babies: your dreams of a boy band reunion may actually be coming true.

Rolling Stone reports that several members from the Backstreet Boys will be joining a former ‘NSync star in a new film written and starring Nick Carter.

The film is set to be directed by the studio behind the SyFy franchise Sharknado and is going to be an interesting genre of movie.

“It’s a zombie Western futuristic horror movie,” Carter said. “My character is still being worked out right now, but I’m a good guy that’s going to help save the day.”

The former Backstreet boy is writing and starring in the flick – with a working title of Dead 7 - and will be joined alongside other 90s pop icons, Howie Dorough, A.J. McLean and Joey Fatone from ‘NSync.

However, Carter would like to add a few more celebs to the cast despite old rumors and bad blood between the boy bands of the 90’s and 2000’s.

"There's a wish list of people that I want," said Carter. "I want it to be musically based. I might reach out to Jordan [Knight] from the New Kids on the Block."

"Nick's vision is to bring some other people in that genre that have never really done a lot of film but that were in music in the Nineties and 2000,” Fatone added.

McLean is set to play the villain in the film and said, "Movies like this can turn into cult phenomenons and that's what Sharknado happened to be.”
