Disney plans to make a live-action Prince Charming film

After the successes for their other live-action films like Alice in Wonderland or Cinderella, Disney is keeping the ball rolling by telling the story of Prince Charming.

According to Coming Soon.net Matt Fogel has already written the script and Mandeville Films/TV is set to produce the movie.

Prince Charming has always been in the background of big fairytale movies and has been played by a series of handsome actors. Richard Madden played him in Cinderella and Chris Pine played him in Into the Woods.

But Disney wants to show the background history of the Prince and how he became so charming.

There are rumors that live-action film could be a comedy, notes The Guradian.

Also, Fogel hinted that the story may be about Prince Charming’s brother who has to struggle with the fact that he lacks any charm.

Not much has been revealed, but that could be an interesting take on the story.

Disney plans to release live-action versions of Beauty and the Beast, Dumbo, Mulan, Pocahontas, and The Jungle Book in the upcoming years.
