Former Miss Nevada from 2007 has now been arrested on meth-trafficking charges

Katherine Rees used to be Miss Nevada when she won the crown in 2007, but after getting arrested for sexually explicit photos, she lost that title. Now she has been charged again with selling meth.

In 2008, Rees lost her crown when semi-naked photos were released onto the internet.

The photos showed her simulating oral sex at a nightclub three years before the competition.

After the photo scandal, People reports that Rees has had a hard time with drugs.

In 2009, she was accused of carrying cocaine from Australia, but the charges were dropped.

“I don’t do drugs,” Rees said. “I don’t use cocaine. I don’t use any kind of pill, no kind of Xanax, no anything. I don’t use anything.”

Yet in 2012, Rees was sentenced to drug counseling after she was found in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Even after counseling, Rees was unable to stay away from drugs.

Recently, she was found with meth in her possession and evidence was found that she in fact was trafficking the drug.

Rees has not commented on the charges and a plea has not been entered.
