All of America was enraged when they found out that Cecil the lion was killed by Walter Palmer, but Mia Farrow may have gotten too riled up. She made the unwise decision to post Palmer’s business address on Twitter.
On Wednesday, Farrow joined in on attacking Palmer, but when she tweeted his address, she faced some backlash.
NY Daily News reports that many Twitter users asked that Farrow’s Twitter account be suspended.
A Twitter spokesman explained that they could not take down Farrow’s account because Palmer’s address was posted on the Internet prior to being tweeted. Wisely, Farrow decided it would be best to delete the tweet.
However, her actions did not subside the outrage that came from other Twitter users.
“Are you trying to send a mob?” asked one angered Twitter user.
According to US Weekly, people even started to stand up for Palmer.
“I hate what he did, but giving out his address isn’t the way to go,” read another post.
Unsurprisingly Donald Trump was even mentioned when one tweeter wrote, “Maybe Donald Trump should give out your phone number,” which was referring to the time when Trump did that to his GOP rival, Sen. Lindsey Graham.
Farrow has not made any comments about all the backlash that she is currently receiving.
