Raven Symoné and Candace Cameron Bure get into heated argument on 'The View' (Video)

Things got heated between Raven-Symoné and Candace Cameron Bure on The View.

The stars got into an intense argument during the show’s Hot Topics segment on Tuesday while discussing an Oregon bakery’s refusal of service to a lesbian couple. The bakery was fined $135,000 to compensate the couple for “the emotional and mental anguish they suffered,” notes Us Weekly.

Symoné and Cameron Bure’s opinions differed on whether the bakery’s decision was considered discrimination or not. Cameron Bure sided with the bakery and explained that the bakery exercised their constitutional right not to serve the couple.

“I don’t think this discrimination at all. This is about freedom of association,” she said. “It’s about constitutional rights. It’s about First Amendment rights. We do have the right to still choose who we associate with.”

The Fuller House star also pointed out the bakery had baked cakes for the couple in the past, but decided not to because the “ceremony conflicted with their religious beliefs.”

Symoné, on the other hand, saw the incident as discrimination toward same sex marriage and even said compared it to “the same exact thing that they did back in the day saying that black people couldn’t do certain things because it’s my ‘religious belief.’”

After going back and forth, Cameron Bure and Symoné decided to agree to disagree on the matter and gave each other a hug.

Watch the full argument below and tell us what you think about the bakery’s decision.
