Rihanna kidnaps fans for video premiere party

Just hours before the online premiere of the "Bitch Better Have My Money" music video, Rihanna kidnapped fans for a Tidal event to give them a first look at the short film.

Rihanna gathered 80 members of her Rihanna Navy for an intimate — and mysterious — event in West Hollywood, hosted by the streaming service Tidal.

After checking in at 7 p.m. and handing in their phones to security, fans enjoyed refreshments while waiting to board a series of buses located outside of the venue.

According to Billboard, the windows inside of the buses were blacked out and fans were forced to wear blindfolds as they traveled to the undisclosed location. Upon arrival, fans were ushered into a dark room filled with props, costumes and puppets.

At 10:23 p.m., nearly an hour and a half after the online premiere, a large screen started playing the "Money" music video. When the video ended, Rihanna walked into the room to thank the fans for coming. Shortly after, dollar bills fell from the ceiling for everyone to grab. Rihanna mingled and posed for pictures, taken by a professional photographer, before calling it a night.
