Breitbart Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro and Inside Edition reporter Zoey Tur got in a heated debate over Caitlyn Jenner, ending in Tur threatening to send Shapiro "home in an ambulance."
On Thursday's episode of Dr. Drew On Call, Shapiro was asked by host Dr. Drew Pinsky whether or not he believed that Caitlyn Jenner deserved the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at Wednesday night's ESPY Awards. He replied, "Self-definition is what you do, and my baby’s doing it at 18 months old. I was unaware that you get a medal for it."
Throughout the conversation, Shapiro referred to Jenner as both Bruce and Caitlyn and continuously used the male pronoun for the former Olympian.
Shapiro then said that "every cell in Caitlyn Jenner's body is male, with the exception of some of his sperm cells."
Tur, a transgender reporter, responded to Shapiro, "We both know chromosomes don't necessarily mean you’re male or female. So you don't know what you're talking about. You're not educated on genetics."
Shapiro then asked Tur, "What are your genetics, sir?" before Tur quickly responded, "You cut that out now or you'll go home in an ambulance."
