Miles Teller wasn’t put under the best light when he did an interview for Esquire magazine. The interviewed called him a d**k multiple times and made him sound arrogant. Cast members from the Fantastic Four decided to set the record straight and help out Teller.
“You’re sitting across from Miles Teller at the Luminary restaurant in Atlanta and trying to figure out if he’s a dick,” begins the interviewer.
As the article continues, it clear to see that Teller did make some cocky comments along the way.
Teller talked about how great his hair is, said that the highball glass was modeled after his penis, and shortened Joaquin Phoenix’s name to Jaoq even though he never met him.
But he believes that what he said was taken out of context.
When the article was published, Teller tweeted, “@esquire couldn’t be more wrong. I don’t think there’s anything cool or entertaining about being a dick or an asshole. Very misrepresenting.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, his fellow cast members supported Teller when they tweeted kind words about him.
Jamie Bell was the first to say something when he tweeted, “@Miles_Teller is a great actor & a great guy. @esquire.”

Then Kate Mara and Michael B. Jordan went on Twitter to defend their friend.
My movie husband @Miles_Teller is crazy talented and a truly fantastic person.

.@Miles_Teller is my boy and I'm a great judge of character @esquire

Although Teller has yet to publicly acknowledge the support, it is good to see that the cast is sticking together.
