'General Hospital' Weekly Recap: Aug. 24-28

Julian dropped by Sonny’s house to see Sonny, who wondered if he was there to confess his sins. Sonny then offered to exterminate the guy ratting on him to the cops. "You set me up!" Julian accused. They then yelled at each other. Sonny also warned Julian that Alexis would turn on him when she realized he was a liar.

Alexis was at Julian’s penthouse watching the news report about Franco's trial when Sam showed up. They then discussed Julian over wine. Sam wondered how convinced Alexis was that Julian was really out of the mob. They debated it and then Sam conceded that he wasn’t as terrible as he used to be and that Alexis had decided to trust him. Alexis then wished she had a relationship like Sam did with Jason. The topic then turned to the trial and Alexis assured Sam that someone would pay for Silas' death. Before she left, Sam asked Alexis to let Julian know that she was on his side. Later, when Julian returned, he wondered what was taking Ava/Denise so long.

At GH, Elizabeth told Patrick about not having time to plan her wedding. He suggested that she get Maxie's help. Then, Obrecht interrupted and Elizabeth showed her the glass she wanted tested. Obrecht thought of the DNA test run on Ava's glass and smirked to herself. Obrecht then ordered the glass destroyed and headed for the elevator, anxious for an update from the trial and hoping Franco would forgive her for this. Patrick then reminded Elizabeth that they still didn't know who Jake/Jason was, but they knew he could be dangerous. After talking to Sam, Elizabeth became sure that she was making the right choice. Elizabeth then wondered when Patrick was going propose to Sam. He replied that he knew they loved each other, but he wasn’t sure Sam was totally devoted to the life they had been building. Then, Sam arrived and talked to Patrick about her chat with Alexis.

In the court room, Ava/Denise continued to insist that she was Denise, but Scott claimed that he could prove that she was lying. "This is outrageous!" she exclaimed. Ric objected, but Scott insisted his evidence from GH was authentic. Scott then explained that the latest DNA test didn’t match the earlier one and why this was the case. As he laid out the story, Ava/Denise continued to deny it. Curious, Ric let Scott go on as Scott railed at Ava/Denise until she dropped her accent and admitted who she was. Kiki gasped. Ava then insisted that she didn’t kill Silas. When she threatened to show the proof on her phone, Franco asked her not to, but she did it anyway. Ric then leapt up as she explained how she caught his wife with Silas' body. Ric then told the judge that he needed to call a recess so he could press charges against his wife. Once the recess commenced, Morgan shook his head as Kiki and Ava were reunited. Franco guessed that Scott got this information from Obrecht. He worried about what this may do to Nina. Across the room, Ric arrested Ava for Connie's murder. She was taken away. Morgan and Kiki then trailed after her as Ric called Sonny to inform him that Ava was alive. When the recess ended, Scott moved that all charges against Franco be dropped. Franco then leapt up and confessed that he killed Silas.

Nathan met Maxie at The Metro Court restaurant. He filled her in on what Nina had been telling him. Nathan then added that he knew Nina can act crazy, but thought she was onto something. He then showed her the paperwork that Madeline and Ric tried to get Nina to sign. Then, Ric called and sent Nathan the photo of Nina.

At home, Tracy spotted Dillon's script. She tried to resist reading it, but failed. Then, Paul interrupted and they discussed what their son was up to. He explained that he was financing Dillon's movie. Tracy was surprised that he had that kind of money. He claimed that he made it the old fashioned way. She was impressed that he was bankrolling their son. Paul replied that he felt like he had neglected Dillon and offered to be there for her to lean on if she needed it. She replied that she didn’t need to lean on anyone. "I'm asking if we can lean on each other," he said. He then leaned in for a kiss and she laughed in his face. He then said that he would like them to be friends and suggested they have dinner. They then ate and toasted to their son.

In the courtroom, Franco confessed that he killed Silas, much to Scott's chagrin. Ric was willing to him out. Scott advised his son to stop lying, but Franco keeps confessing. He then made a story about what happened and Ric decided to hold Franco, Ava and Nina in custody. The judge agreed and wouldn't drop the charges against Franco. Outside, Kiki was eager to run off to see her Ava, but Morgan stopped her and pointed out that they should be angry about what Ava had done. She replied that she still needed to see her. Morgan was too distraught to go.

At the PCPD, Valerie rubbed her belly until Dante interrupted. She told him that she was looking for somewhere new to live. "I've overstepped my boundaries with the Spencers quite enough," she said. He recalled their sleeping together, but thought they needed to forgive themselves and move on. Meanwhile, a handcuffed Ava was brought in with Nina following. Ava then taunted her and Nathan held his Nina back. Then, Dante came in to hold Ava back. Nathan then led Nina down to the cells. Valerie realized Dante was booking the woman who killed his cousin and touched his hand. They then left to see Lulu and Kiki arrived with questions for Ava. Ava explained what happened to her Kiki and claimed that she didn't kill Silas. Kiki believed her and Ava explained that she only came back to be part of her and her baby sister’s lives. Kiki told Ava that she loved her, but warned her about how upset Morgan was.

Down in the cells, Nina continued telling Nathan that she was innocent. She suggested that he find the evidence to back it up. After he left, Franco was shown in to the cell across from her. She told him that she knew that he tried to save her and had believed in her all along. "We're going to get out of this together, right?" she asked.

The film equipment started to arrive at The Haunted Star. Dillon then told Lulu that Valerie was pregnant. They had three dates so he decided it was time to put a baby in her. Lulu was shocked. He then said that he was just joking. After they rehashed the Valerie-Dante thing, they talked about his movie. He had re-worked it and asked her to read through it with him. This made her a tad uncomfortable since it was a thinly veiled version of their past, but she agreed anyway. They read through the scene. It got personal and he took her hand. Then, Dante and Valerie arrived.

Carly showed up at Sonny’s house and rambled on about what could be wrong with Morgan. Sonny stopped her to explain that Ava was alive. She was floored! "I'm going to make her pay for what she did to Connie," he said. Carly replied that everyone should have listened to him all along. It then dawned on her that Morgan cheated on Kiki with her mother. They worried this could drive him over the edge. Then, Morgan showed up and filled them in about what happened in court. He didn’t know what to do. His parents then embraced him.

In his office, Madeline confronted Ric about Nina being thrown in jail. Ric told her that he had no choice given then evidence and this was a good thing since now they could sail off as millionaires and leave her behind. Madeline then informed him that Nina never signed the papers, so they had no access to the money. She believed Nathan had the papers now and she told Ric to get them from him and then convince Nina to sign them since she wouldn’t see her. Ric agreed to do it.

In the PCPD jail, Nina told Franco that Nathan agreed with him that her mother and Ric were just after her money. She also said the craziness with the baby crying and cribs magically appearing stopped, which Franco believed was all Ric and Madeline’s doing. Nina was relieved to know that she wasn’t crazy, didn’t kidnap the baby and didn’t kill Silas. Franco then said they were a murder charge away from having it all. Nina believed that Nathan would come through for them. Eventually, a guard came for Nina since it was time for her arraignment. In the station, Nathan and Dante worked on the case since Nathan wasn’t convinced of Nina’s guilt. Dante helped him go over the case and evidence. Dante then found out that before Silas came to see Ava/Denise that Morgan had also visited her. Nathan then looked over the visitor logs and noticed something. Nathan then believed he had cracked the case and knew who really killed Silas and assured Dante it wasn’t Morgan.

Meanwhile, Ava waited in jail and Sonny dropped by to see her. He gloated about this being justice since it was two years ago today that she had killed Connie. They then discussed the past and how it all led to A.J.’s murder. He then accused her of killing Silas, though she assured him that was Nina. He didn’t believe her and he told that their daughter would never know her since Carly would be her mother. He then called it sweet revenge for her trying to take Morgan from them again. Ava then claimed that Morgan would always want and love her, but Sonny wondered how Kiki would feel when she found out. She couldn’t believe he would do that, but he said that he would because he wanted Morgan with Kiki. However, she would go down for killing Connie so could kiss her life goodbye. Sonny then walked off and Ava prayed that Julian came through for her.

Alexis confronted Julian at his place with the fact that Ava and Denise were one in the same and how she had fooled everyone, but Sonny. Julian then confessed to Alexis that he knew she was Ava, but only found out yesterday. He then explained finding her fighting with Obrecht and that she had no choice but to tell him. Alexis then asked why he didn’t tell her and he said that his head was spinning and that he didn’t want to implicate Alexis in harboring a fugitive. He also said that she was still his sister and that she had always been loyal to him, something she should understand given her family. Alexis believed him, but wouldn’t be representing Ava since she was already representing Nina. She then had to get to court and left. Julian then remembered Ava asking him to get the recording so the case against her fell apart.

Kiki found Morgan throwing things at Sonny’s place and he vented about Ava. Kiki defended her mother’s actions, saying she didn’t mean to hurt anyone. Morgan replied that she did hurt someone, which made Kiki wonder if he still had feelings for Ava. He swore that he didn’t and that he was speaking of Ava hurting Silas. He believed Ava killed him, which they then argued over. He then apologized if his words had hurt her and he suggested they leave town and move on with one another. Morgan then told her that he had to go do something, but he promised they would be happy.

Back at Ric’s office, Julian arrived outside while inside Ric had to leave for Nina’s arraignment. Ric also suggested that Madeline show up and support her daughter, or at least pretend to. The two then left and Julian broke into Ric’s office.

Maxie met with Dillon on The Haunted Star, where after bickering about their past and Georgie, he asked her to help him with the costume design for his movie. She read his script and the two then argued over his leading lady’s style. Dillon replied that he was strapped for cash in terms of the budget, but Maxie had a solution. She told him that she had a friend, who should be able to lend his talent and she would let him know when she heard from him.

Kiki visited Franco in the PCPD jail and asked him how he was able to look her in the eye knowing Ava was alive. Franco explained that Ava was blackmailing him with the photo of Nina. She then asked him how long he had known about her mother being alive and he admitted that he had known since the Fourth of July. Then, he told her that Ava wanted him to get the evidence that she killed Connie, which was in his father’s office. Franco reminded her that her father knew too and that he was about to confess to Scott, but he wasn’t in his office when he went there. Kiki thought this explained the message Silas left her that he had something to tell her, but Franco told her there was more. Then, she asked him to tell her everything. Franco replied that Ava knew that Silas knew something about Morgan.

Elsewhere in the PCPD jail, Morgan went to see Ava and the two argued. She swore that she love him so he asked her why she didn’t tell him the truth. She reminded him that he told Sonny when she was hiding at the brownstone and then Sonny came to kill her. He then admitted that mistake had haunted him. She then told him to stop deluding himself about not knowing who she was because deep down he knew. He swore that he didn’t, but she felt that a part of him had to know. Then, she added that she believed they could rekindle their relationship, but he told her that it couldn’t work and that they had think about Kiki.

In the PCPD station, Nathan and Dante told Jordan that they thought they had found Silas’ killer and that it was none of the people they now had in jail.

Julian listened at Ric’s office door and overheard him discussing bringing Ava down. He then barged in and confronted Ric, accusing him of doing Sonny’s dirty work and targeting him and his sister. Ric then told him that he and his sister would go to prison because that was his job. Julian then warned Ric to leave him and his sister alone or he would smear him and everyone he love in his newspaper. Ric replied by just laughing at him and then he got a text from Madeline about the papers dealing with Nina’s money, Ric then took off. After Ric was gone, Julian searched for the recording, but had to stop when Jordan arrived and wondered why he was alone in Ric’s office. Julian claimed that he came to speak with Ric about unfairly prosecuting him. She replied by telling him that Ric was indisposed at the moment and that he needed to leave.

Back at the PCPD, Ric arrived and asked Nathan how he was holding up and also said that Madeleine had been badgering him about some paperwork Nina had on her when she was arrested. Ric then asked for it, but Nathan revealed they have something else for him. Dante then arrested Ric for the murder of Silas, which he protested. They then informed him that they had found new evidence that implicated him and then they took him into the interrogation room. Ric insisted he was innocent and that he barely knew the Silas. He then refused to speak any further without his lawyer, so Nathan and Dante began to tell him what they evidence they had on him. Ric refused to believe that Dante and Nathan had evidence he killed Silas. When Dante left, Jordan came in to explain that Mayor Lomax wasn’t happy with how things were going. Nathan came out and Mayor Lomax called Jordan to lecture her for bringing Ric in.

Meanwhile, Morgan was down in the cells with Ava. She challenged him to say that he really wanted her and her body out of his life, but he just repeated his request that she keep the truth about them from Kiki. She promised not to say anything. Once he left, Ava curled up in a ball to cry until Julian showed up. He told her about failing to retrieve the recording from the DA's office. As they talked, she asked him if he was the one who had been making moves on Sonny's operation. He didn’t answer. She then told him that she felt doomed. They then talked about her relationship with Morgan ending. She conceded that it was doomed, but that didn’t change her feelings for Morgan.

At the other end of the cells, Franco explained to Kiki that Morgan and Ava had been sleeping together behind her back. She went into denial, but he insisted adding that Ava even admitted it to him. He then said that he would have told her earlier, but Ava offered to help him with Nina. Franco then told Kiki that he confronted Morgan about it and how desperate he was to keep the truth from her. Kiki wondered if Morgan was desperate enough to kill her father, but Franco was sure that Ava did it. Kiki was furious and then left.

In the courtroom, Nina worried about Franco to the point that Alexis was getting annoyed. Alexis then advises Nina to put herself first. Then, Madeline popped up to agree. Nina then told Alexis about her mom and Ric trying to get control of her money, but Alexis told Nina to focus and plead not guilty. Nina then noticed that her husband wasn’t there. The judge and an assistant D.A. arrived so the arraignment began. After entering her plea, Nina began announcing that Franco wasn’t a murderer. Ric then arrived and sat behind his wife. The judge denied Alexis' request to drop the charges against Nina and also denied bail. Ric then told Nina that he would give anything to keep her out of this, but that Mayor Lomax was insisting she be prosecuted. Nina was then taken back to the cells. Once Nina was gone, Ric told Madeleine how he hit a snag when he tried to get her document because the cops arrested him for Silas’ murder. Ric then claimed that he threatened them with a lawsuit so they let him go. Then, he finally got the document in question out of his briefcase and told Madeleine that he had a plan to get Nina to sign it. He then pulled out another document and asked Madeleine how she had gotten Silas to sign it. Madeleine then flashed back to knocking on Silas’ door.

When Lulu arrived on The Haunted Star, Dillon moped about his leading actress running off to be on Game of Thrones. He then said that he wanted Lulu to take her place. She was reluctant to do so. Then, Maxie rushed in, declaring that she had bad news. The costume designer had also backed out. Dillon then asked her to talk Lulu into being his leading lady. Maxie yelled at Lulu to do it, but Lulu fired back, "If you're so into it, why don't you star in Dillon's movie?"

At Sonny’s house, Sonny and Carly worried about Morgan going over the edge. He didn’t want his son to go through what he did before being diagnosed as being bi-polar. Then, Morgan rushed in. He explained that he had just ended things with Ava, which was a relief to Sonny and Carly. They then sat him down and suggested that he go and see a doctor about his erratic behavior. "It's not happening," Morgan replied. Sonny then suggested to Morgan that he might be bi-polar and pointed out his pattern of impulsive decisions, but Morgan insisted that he wasn’t sick. Sonny and Carly then replied that they just wanted him to get help. Morgan then jumped around the room declaring that he wasn’t sick and that Ava was the only disease he had been suffering from. "Everything is fine," he claimed before walking out. Sonny and Carly were still worried about how all of this was going to turn out.

Nina was brought down to the cells. She and Franco then talked about her court appearance and how she kept it cool with Madeleine and Ric, not letting them know that she knew they were trying to gaslight her to get her money. Franco then told Nina that he was sure that they would be able to prove their innocence somehow.

Kiki returned to Silas' apartment. She picked up a photo of her and Silas together. "You were going to tell me, weren't you?" she whispered. Then, she said that she didn’t know what to do. Then, Morgan arrived.
