Leonardo DiCaprio has dated a lot of women, but when the French magazine Oops reported that Rihanna was pregnant with his baby, it was clear that they were telling a lie. Still, DiCaprio was outraged with these accusations and decided to sue the magazine.
According to the Mirror, the actor was reported to have been with Rihanna earlier in the year. Their relationship wasn’t too serious and seemed to have fizzled out as time went on.
Yet on May 13, a cover story from Oops came out with a headline that said: “Rihanna pregnant with Leonardo’s baby: He doesn’t want the baby.”
Gossip Cop reports that after DiCaprio sued Oops, the French court ordered the magazine to pay the actor 8,000 Euros or $8,800 for damages and legal fees.
The court found that the magazine had violated the country’s right to privacy when it published false information about his personal life.
The owner of Oops, Frederic Truskolaski, didn’t handle the news too well. He was reported to have said that DiCaprio was a pervert for only dating younger models.
Truskolaski also accused DiCaprio of being a racist, “DiCaprio almost systematically goes out with Aryan-type girls, always blonde hair,” accuses Truskolaski. “He could not stand the fact that our magazine was saying he was having a baby with a black girl.”
DiCaprio has made no further comment on Truskolaski’s attack.
