The plane’s wreckage was found in the Oktabe district of Papua, according to NPR. The Associated Press reported that villagers saw the plane crash into a mountain. Indonesia’s director general of air transportation, Suprasetyo, stated that “details are still being verified.”

According to Suprasetyo, search and rescue teams will conduct ground and aerial searches on Monday to confirm the villagers’ reports of the crash.
