Filming on Suicide Squad began on April 13, 2015, and throughout production a whole lot of things leaked from the set, including photos of a chase sequence involving Batman and The Joker, as we previously reported.
Ayer wasn't the only person celebrating the end of shooting. Cara Delevingne, who plays Enchantress in the movie, posted this photo of herself receiving a tattoo from costar Margot Robbie in her Harley Quinn costume. In fact, many of the members of Suicide Squad's cast and crew got tattoos to commemorate their work on the movie including David Ayer, Joel Kinnaman and Jai Courtney, as we previously reported.
Suicide Squad is the next DC movie after Batman v. Superman and will follow a group of super villains who go on dangerous missions for the government in return for reduced jail time. It stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Cara Delevingne, and Viola Davis. The film hits theaters on August 5, 2015.
For more on the movie, check out the trailer released at Comic-Con, which shows off the cast in action and most interestingly Jared Leto's interpretation of the Joker.
