'Supernatural' actor Misha Collins victim of mugging

Supernatural actor Misha Collins was the victim of a mugging in Minnesota where he was in town for a convention this past weekend.

E! News reported that in a now deleted Facebook post, co-star Jim Beaver told fans that Collins was at a restaurant when three men followed him outside and beat him up before robbing him. Beaver wanted to clear up rumors to let everyone know what had happened.

Collins also tweeted that he was “totally fine” and he thanked his fans for the support. Fans tweeted their support via the hashtag #WeLoveYouMisha. He said he got out of the incident with only “minor scrapes,” although in his post, Beaver had said he suffered a “fat lip” and got stitches. Ouch!

Collins was in town to attend Creation Entertainment’s Supernatural convention, where he went ahead with his photo ops after what happened.

While we, and the fans, wish Collins a speedy recovery, let’s hope the men responsible don’t run into a Supernatural fan after this.
